Rahija Muslemani

Areas of expertise

Mtre Muslemani holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), obtained in 2016, and a Master of Laws in Common Law and Transnational Law (LL.M.), obtained in 2018, from the University of Sherbrooke, as well as a Master 2 in Human Rights from the university Lumière Lyon 2, obtained in 2018. In the fall of 2015, she studied comparative constitutional law and European Union law at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium.

She was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2019 after completing her articling with a team of defense lawyers at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands.

Originally from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Mtre Muslemani practiced her professional activities in a community access to justice environment in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec City and Chaudière-Appalaches regions before joining the team of Duclos law firm in September 2022. Motivated by human contact, she focuses her practice mainly on civil litigation.
